Racing Requirements & Rules

While everybody is here to have fun, safety is our number 1 priority! We have rules and regulations that racers must abide by. You will be briefed before you get onto the track but we like to reinforce our rules before our drivers arrive.

Requirements for All Drivers

  • Drivers must wear close-toed shoes. No high heels.
  • All drivers must be able to operate the karts safely.
  • Proper helmets must be worn while on the track at all times. We provide drivers with the proper helmets, no other safety gear is required. Visors must stay down on helmets at all times while on the track.
  • Every racer must create an account with us and sign a waiver.

Management reserves the right to determine if someone is not able to control the kart safely.

Junior Racer Requirements

  • Must be a minimum of 6 years old and 50" tall
    • If your child is between the 48"-52" mark, we recommend bringing your child in to get seated in a kart to see if they can safely reach the pedals. We do not have double-seater karts, so every racer must drive their own kart.  Some kids have longer legs, and some kids are longer torsos. So just because they may be 50-52" tall, they may still be able to not reach the pedals safely. It is up to our discretion to allow kids to race or not due to safety and height.
  • Racers under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian sign a minor release liability form.
  • All racers must be able to operate the karts safely.
  • All Junior racers are required to wear a provided neck brace.
  • Junior races run at approximately 25 mph and are 8 laps on our ¼ mile track.

Management reserves the right to determine if someone is not the proper size or able to control the kart safely.

Teen & Adult Racer Requirements

  • Must be a minimum of 14 years old and 56" tall
  • Racers under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian sign a minor release liability form.
  • All racers must be able to operate the karts safely.
  • Weight limit of 300 pounds.
  • Racers between the ages of 14 - 15 race at approximately 35 mph and travel 10 laps on our ¼ mile track.
  • Racers 16+ years of age race at approximately 45 mph and travel 12 laps on our ¼ mile track.

Management reserves the right to determine if someone is not the proper size or able to control the kart safely.

Rules:

All new riders will receive a mandatory briefing session on indoor kart racing safety and regulations. Please remember that indoor Karting is real racing and not just an amusement ride. Accidents can happen if you do not follow the rules or pay attention to flags. We cannot emphasize enough that indoor kart racing is a non-contact sport. We do not tolerate any bumping or blocking of go karts. If you are unable to pass a kart, there is no excuse for contact. Victory Raceway has a strict, zero-tolerance policy regarding alcohol and/or drug use during or before racing. Anyone who appears to be under the influence will not be permitted to race. Management has the right to remove anybody from a race if they are deemed to be unsafe to themselves or others. We do not give refunds for reckless driving.

Warnings:

It is recommended that you do not race if you have any of the following conditions including but not limited to: epilepsy/seizures, recent surgeries or illnesses, heart conditions, neck/back/bone conditions, pregnancy, high blood pressure or aneurysms, or any other health issues that could be a safety concern. Guests under the influence of drugs or alcohol are not allowed to race.
